About us

Neighbors who throw a parade.

Northland Festivals, Inc. is the nonprofit behind every Snake Saturday since 1983: the Emerald Hooley, Lads & Lassies, the Charity Cook-off, and the parade and festival. It's run by an unpaid board and more than 150 volunteers.

What we do

Family fun with Irish spirit, and money for local charities.

Snake Saturday is built so the whole town wins: a free parade and festival for families, and cash prizes for the charities that march and cook. See where the money goes.

Northland Festivals, Inc. is a Missouri nonprofit corporation and a 501(c)(4) social-welfare organization (EIN 43-1483097). Gifts to it are not tax-deductible as charitable contributions.
